Love is in the Air at GoSkydive
15 May 2023
The experience of skydiving will always remain one of your most treasured and memorable firsts, so it will also make a perfect proposal idea. Saturday 13th May was anything but an average day at the airfield for Morweena, as she was coaxed into taking part in a tandem skydive.
Morwenna’s partner Kamil joined her on the jump and it sounds like he got the skydive bug and planning to come back already – “I’m also already planning my 2nd skydive with you which I’ll be able to enjoy even more without the added nervousness of a proposal afterwards, absolutely loved the first one!”
Once they’d both taken the leap from 10,000ft and experienced the adrenaline rush of 30 seconds of freefall, Kamil was greeted by Tom with the ring upon landing, ready for the big moment.
Kamil sent the GoSkydive Team a great message following on from the big day.
“I wanted to say a massive thank you to the whole team at GoSkydive for making mine and Morwenna’s day on Saturday so special and for the help in making the proposal work even better than I had hoped for. As you can imagine I was quite nervous leading up to it but I felt at ease from the moment we arrived as your whole team made it subtly clear that everything was in hand in terms of the plan and we were able to just enjoy the day despite the weather delay.”
Morwenna took to the skies with her instructor Chris, whilst Kamil was with instructor Mark. All whilst the action was being captured by freefall photographer Roman.
Kamil sent a lovely message thanking the team:
“I know there were various people involved throughout but I wanted to give a special thank you to my instructor Mark who first of all was a great instructor to have for the skydive itself but also for showing his excitement in being a part of mine and Morwenna’s big day and I’m really pleased that he was able to share the moment with us. Also special thank you’s to Roman and Chris, who was Morwenna’s instructor, for the amazing footage they captured of both the skydive and the proposal afterwards, again both great people to have had involved in the whole experience, plus the video editor(s) for pulling it all together into a great reel. Finally a thank you to the guy on the ground whose name I didn’t get unfortunately for being on hand with the ring as soon as we landed meaning I was able to get myself ready for Morwenna’s landing!”
“Please pass on my thanks to all the people involved, I can’t speak highly enough of the whole team and will definitely be recommending you to other people, and while we’re starting to plan our wedding, I’m also already planning my 2nd skydive with you which I’ll be able to enjoy even more without the added nervousness of a proposal afterwards, absolutely loved the first one!”
